We support, Educate and enlighten citizens of ECOWAS on ECOWAS laws and the jurisprudence of ECOWAS Community Court.
We engage citizens of ECOWAS to enlighten them on the basic tenets and workings of ECOWAS; and help Citizens gain knowledge of their rights and obligations under ECOWAS Law. Our ultimate aim is to put citizens in the position where they are able to demonstrate the knowledge and willingness to lawfully assert their rights and perform their obligations. We engage national governments to engage compliance with their ECOWAS obligations.
We promote and contribute to the development of ECOWAS Laws by conducting research; engaging in public enlightenment; hosting seminars, workshops and roundtable, on ECOWAS Laws, in particular, and relevant rules of general international law, in general.
Amos is a Professor of Public International Law at the University of Benin. He has an ardent interest in integration law, especially as it concerns ECOWAS. He is a resource person to the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice and a legal aid counsel at the African Court of Human and Peoples’ Rights.
Anthony Osaro Ewere, Ph.D Ewere is an Associate Professor of Law within the Department of Private and Property Law, Faculty of Law, University of Benin. He has a strong interest in human rights, especially as it relates to the rights of women.
Michael is a vibrant and dynamic legal practitioner. He has a strong zeal for research and practical aspects of legal practice, both locally and internationally. He is currently a PhD candicate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Benin.
Dr. Dandy Nwaogu is a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Jurisprudence and international Law, University of Benin. He is currently the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law. He has a strong interest in international Law and oil and gas law.
